What types of locking devices are available?

Standard hex-socket countersunk bolts (M12–M16), tool-free spring clips for frequent-access covers, hinged assemblies with padlock eyes, and anti-theft triangular/pentagonal security bolts. All hot-dip galvanized or 316L stainless.

Which type should I choose?

Hex-socket bolts: standard choice, opened with a common tool. Spring clips: tool-free quick access for maintenance covers. Hinged + padlock: security applications. Anti-theft bolts: public-access areas where unauthorized opening is a concern.

Are locks supplied with the covers?

Yes — we supply locking devices as part of a complete trench cover package. They can also be ordered separately for retrofit applications.

Spring clip fasteners — tool-free quick release for frequently accessed maintenance covers. Stainless spring steel
Hinged assemblies — heavy-duty hinge + padlock eye. For covers that swing open without full removal
Anti-theft security bolts — triangular or pentagonal recessed head. Requires dedicated key. EN 124 compliant
All types available in carbon steel HDG or stainless steel 316L for corrosive environments
Bolt quantities per cover panel confirmed against trench length and panel count on the quotation
