How to Specify
What information to provide for RFQ and drawings to ensure accurate quotation and production.
Information to Provide
- Product type: Bar grating, stair treads, trench covers, FRP, accessories
- Spacing: e.g., 19-W-4, 15-W-2 (see Product Spacing Guide)
- Material and finish: Galvanized, stainless, painted, FRP (see Materials and Finishes)
- Panel size: Length –– width (mm or inches), bearing bar direction
- Quantity: Number of panels or total area
- Load/span: Required load capacity and span for verification
- Drawings: Layout, dimensions, support details
- Standards: Target standard if applicable (GB, ANSI/NAAMM, ASTM, EN/BS)
- Delivery: Destination, port, incoterm
Drawing Requirements
Include dimensioned drawings where possible. Indicate bearing bar direction, span, support locations, and any special details (banding, nosing, toe plate, fixing details).
